Head Chef We require an exceptional head chef. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in similar outlets providing modern British cuisine. A dedicated foodie, the applicant should display a deep understanding of modern cooking techniques with a desire to use fresh seasonal ingredients and locally reared meat and other produce, to create an interesting and varied menu, with a hint of frivolity. We require our head chef to nurture a disciplined kitchen ensuring that all dishes are produced to a high standard in an environment which fosters experimentation, learning, and creativity. Adherence to high standards of compliance with hygiene and health and safety is also crucial as is exceptional profit maintenance and stock control. A generous GP related bonus equivalent to 4k per year is included.
Pastry or Junior Chef Required for part-time work. Mon-Wed 9.30-3pm, 6-9pm Passionate about food, the successful applicant will have the ability to bake breads, pastries and prepare desserts for our restaurant, bar and function business, as well as assist in morning, lunchtime and evening service.
Function staff Required for occasional part-time work. We are looking for smart, friendly and presentable staff to work with us serving food and drink to guests at Weddings, Christmas parties and other special events through the year. We expect the successful applicants to work as part of a team delivering outstanding levels of service to our clients and their guests. We seek applications from candidates 16+ years of age, experience is preferred, but training will be given.
