If you have an event you want to celebrate, we can offer you everything from a private gourmet dinner for 10 to a full scale party with music and dancing for up to 120 people.
With 10 guest bedrooms and our proximity to Northampton and the A43 as well as junction 15a of the M1, the Walnut Tree Inn an ideal venue for any party or get together.

The Ellington Suite
Our large function room can accommodate up to 85 people for a seated meal or up to 120 for a finger buffet. It has its own bar and toilets as well as a separate entrance ensuring you total privacy for your event.
We will tailor the event to your specific requirements and offer a variety of menus created and cooked on the premises with flair and care by our talented team of chefs using only fresh ingredients. Please see below for menu details.
As well as stocking a wide variety of wines and spirits, the Ellington bar also stocks popular draught beers and lagers including Kronenbourg, Fosters, Guinness, Strongbow and John Smiths all at standard pub prices. If you require real ale, our local brewery Frog Island will supply smaller barrels to order. Our license allows us to supply alcohol till 1am every day (except Sunday)
We have a full music license and can provide a variety of musical talent from classical guitarists to seven-piece jazz bands to suit your needs. We also have our own state-of-the-art PA, disco and lighting set-up and can provide our own dj to entertain your guests. Alternatively, you can provide your own entertainment.
As part of our service, our party co-ordinators will work with you closely to ensure your party gives your guests an unforgettable night and will arrange table and room decorations, cameras etc on your behalf or you can provide your own.
Our function room can be booked for £100 from 12.00-6.00pm or £150 from 6.00pm-1.00am or £250 for the whole day. Discounted rates are available Monday-Friday and Sundays. Please enquire for details.

The Walnut Tree Restaurant
Our candlelit restaurant is available for hire, either in part at any time or exclusively during the day (except Sundays). For parties over 10 we require a pre-order but unlike other many restaurants we do not charge an extra fee for large parties.
