Irene’s style and lyrics have been compared to Norah Jones, Natalie Merchant, Eddi Reader, Lisa Loeb and Bic Runga whilst remaining uniquely her own.
2019 sees the release of ”The Light Game” – the first full band album by Irene Rae featuring ten songs that showcase her delicate, yet powerful voice combined with raw and honest songwriting. The record was conceived from a determination to capture the essence and intimacy of her live shows.
