Real food from fresh ingredients

From top-end Newbottle Estate fillet steaks to our award-winning cheeseboard, our chefs carefully select the best ingredients to create dishes to excite the palatte and not the wallet!!

To accompany your meal we have a wide selection of carefully chosen wines, many available by the glass, and a choice of four real ales mostly from local breweries as well as the usual range of draught lagers, cider and Guiness.

To compliment your dining we offer a wide range of aperitifs and after-dinner drinks including a selection of 30 whiskies.

Our menu is available in either the restaurant, bar and during more clement weather on our covered, heated patio and garden.

Sunday lunch
Keeping the whole family happy, we offer a selection of roast meats including tender Northamptonshire reared beef, pork, free range chicken, all served with roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables and proper stockpot gravy as well as fish and vegetarian options and smaller portions for children.

The Hayes Room

Available to book excusively for groups of ten to twenty for no extra charge, the Hayes Dining Room is available for both lunch and dinner to celebrate that special occasion in private.
If eating from the Restaurant menu, pre-orders will be required two days prior to booking.

Local suppliers

Our kitchen is now sourcing mostly locally reared meat and poultry from Northamptonshire. If you are growing fruit or vegetables or rearing animals for food, please give us a call, we would be delighted to hear from you.
